Trade Horizons is very proud to announce the establishment of the LatAm Edge Awards – the first British Awards to assist the establishment and growth of Latin American Tech companies in the UK.
The Aim Of The Award
The LatAm Edge Award was launched with a view to identify ambitious Latin American companies with a proven business model and the potential for scalability within the UK and beyond, and help them realise international growth. It was co-founded by partners GrupoCASA from Latin America, together with Trade Horizons and Incisive Edge in the UK.
The Founders
GrupoCASA has extensive experience in helping technology companies from around the world to capitalise on the Latin America market, launching Clients such as Xiaomi, Google, and Waze and has a network that comprises 9 agencies in other LatAm countries. Trade Horizons specialises in assisting companies with international expansion in the area of commercial strategy and business development; and Incisive Edge helps companies attract investment for scaling within the United Kingdom and beyond. Working together on other technology projects, the three partners realised that more could be done to assist innovative Latin American tech companies succeed with their global ambitions – and the LatAm Edge Awards were born.
“There is a vast amount of entrepreneurial tech talent across Latin America. However, there are many barriers to overcome in order to expand and become international, especially in the UK and Europe. It is our wish to encourage and support these companies to look to the United Kingdom as one of the ideal destinations to develop and scale their businesses globally,” said Gillian Kerr, Director of Trade Horizons.
