About Niedersachsen:

Invest in Niedersachsen is a brand of the Niedersachsen Ministry for Economic Affairs, Transport, Housing and Digitalisation. We provide all important regional and sector specific information you need for your decision to settle your business in Niedersachsen, free of charge and from a single source.

Niedersachsen, Germany’s second largest state, offers excellent infrastructure with nine seaports, including Germany’s only deepwater port and fast connections via road, rail, air and water to international markets. It is also home to the country’s first LNG terminal at Wilhelmshaven and continues to develop for clean and affordable energy.

The capital city, Hannover, is a venue for international trade fairs, attracting global professionals. Niedersachsen hosts numerous global players like Volkswagen, Continental, Bosch, and many innovative SMEs. As Germany’s leading state for renewable energy, it offers ideal conditions for green hydrogen. With outstanding universities and research facilities, Niedersachsen is a prime location for innovative companies.
