From February 5th – 9th, 2024, Trade Horizons Limited, on behalf of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action, is organizing a Trade Mission for German SME in the aviation sector to Seattle. A special focus lies on technologies and products in the Net-Zero-Aviation sector, as sustainability is of primary concern of the Ministry.
The delegation will visit the PNAA conference in Seattle and is open for B2B meetings and networking with American companies. Please contact our team if you wish to get to know one or more of the participants:
Airial Robotics: GT20/ GT25 Gyrotrak is Airial Robotics super versatile, super workhorse. A disruptive gyro/helicopter hybrid UAV solution advancing flight time, payload, range and speed over other systems. GT20/ GT25 is built for BVLOS (beyond visual line of sight) with manned aviation in mind. Its unique system’s inherent safety, night flight and all-weather capability allow for a wide range of applications and ensure a high level of operational readiness. GT20 and GT25 are 24/7 all-weather UAVs and defiy wind up to BFT8 as well as hot or wet weather (IPX5 water resistant electronics). Even on a stormy and rainy night, the Gyrotraks reach their destination.
CHESCO GmbH: The Center for Hybrid Electric Systems Cottbus (chesco) is a unique center for research into hybrid-electric and electric systems for the mobility sector, i.e. aviation applications. The research factory is equipped with 150 machines and systems covering various areas of innovative manufacturing and inspection methods. Download profile here.
EVIA AERO GmbH: With new aircraft and technology that reactivates lost markets and expands the boundaries of air travel in a scalable, sustainable and economically viable way, EVIA AERO will likely be the first airline in Europe to operate zero emission aircraft on a fixed, commercial schedule. Operations are scheduled to start in late 2026/early 2027 with a 9-seat hydrogen-electric aircraft (Britten-Norman Islander) followed by a 9-seat battery electric aircraft (Eviation Alice) in 2029. The company covers the entire value chain of sustainable aviation from decentralized energy generation with photovoltaic systems, generation of hydrogen with electrolyzers to energy storage as well as flight operations.
