Trade Mission UK Artificial Intelligence to Bremen, Germany

From June 10th – 13th 2024, Trade Horizons Limited, on behalf of Germany Trade & Invest (GTAI) and Bremeninvest – the international brand of Bremen’s Economic Development (WFB Wirtschaftsförderung Bremen GmbH), is organising a Trade Mission to the German Federal State of Bremen. The UK delegation will benefit from the Bremen AI Days and take part of the programme focusing on high-tech companies and B2B networking.

Juni 2024 führt Trade Horizons Limited, im Auftrag der Germany Trade and Invest Gesellschaft für Außenwirtschaft und standortmarketing mbH und in Zusammenarbeit mit saaris – saarland.innovation&standort e.V. sowie der gwSaar – Gesellschaft für Wirtschaftsförderung Saar mbH, eine Clustervermarktungsreise in die USA (San Francisco, Silicon Valley) durch. Die Reise richtet sich an im Saarland ansässige Unternehmen aus dem Bereich Automotive mit Schwerpunkt auf Cyber Security, AI, und Big Data. Die Zielgruppe beinhaltet kleine und mittlere Unternehmen (Produktion, Zulieferbetriebe, Vertrieb, Dienstleistung usw.), Forschungs- und Entwicklungseinrichtungen (inklusive Universitäten), Start-ups und Netzwerke.

For the first time since 1998, the country's Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) has slipped into the red. This unprecedented decline in FDI, which stood at minus $11.8 billion in the third quarter of 2023, indicates a trend of foreign investors withdrawing their capital at a faster rate than they are investing. This article aims to delve into the reasons behind this phenomenon, exploring the various economic and geopolitical factors that have led to this exodus of foreign investors from China. Since Russia invaded Ukraine fears about China’s potential invasion of Taiwan has sent investors fleeing.

US Trade Mission for German SMEs in the Aviation sector

Vom 05. bis zum 09. Februar 2024 führt Trade Horizons Limited, im Auftrag des Bundesministeriums für Wirtschaft und Klimaschutz, eine Geschäftsanbahnungsreise im Bereich Luftfahrt in die USA (Seattle) durch. Das Projekt richtet sich vorwiegend an kleine und mittlere deutsche Unternehmen, Selbständige der gewerblichen Wirtschaft sowie fachbezogene Freie Berufe und wirtschaftsnahe Dienstleister im Bereich der Luft- und Raumfahrtnachhaltigkeit. Dazu gehören nachhaltige Flugkraftstoffe, neue Elektro- und Wasserstofftechnologien, Infrastruktur und betriebliche Effizienz, Kompensationen, Kohlenstoffabscheidung und mehr.
